Did you know that 90% of a child’s brain is developed by age 5? We specialize in serving children from birth to age seven, so that treatment outcomes are maximized and your family is supported during these crucial years. Our goal is to meet your child at their current levels and help them achieve new milestones while having fun.
Our learning environment features multiple thematic play environments with open-ended toys, two large indoor gym areas, and a secure outdoor area featuring a playground. We believe strongly in limited screen time, less “drill work” or “table time,” and encouraging children to learn through exploring their environment and play.
Unified Team Approach
Individualized treatment plans are developed by a Behavior Analyst, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, and/or Speech Therapist. Your child’s unique treatment plan ensures that they learn and grow in a way that’s right for them.
The therapists on your child’s team work closely with each other, and your family, to ensure that your child receives the highest levels of care. Parent input, education, and training is guaranteed by all members of your child’s team to best support your family in the clinic, at home, and in the community.
Our Center
Our clinic was designed with input from each therapy discipline, allowing our space to serve the whole child. Featuring individual and group therapy rooms, flexible seating options, and multiple sensory gyms ( with swings, slides, crash mats, rock walls, monkey bars, and play structures!), our engaging environment facilitates sensory integration and learning through play.
Shine’s environment is similar to a preschool or elementary school, but with one-on-one support and guidance for your child. Each day, your child will participate in individual and group activities focused on communication, play, and social-language skills. These group learning opportunities are embedded into our half- and full-day ABA therapy programs, as well as into 30-60 minute occupational, physical, and speech therapy sessions.
