Center-Based ABA Therapy in Indianapolis
Our two Indianapolis centers welcome children and families from throughout Central Indiana, including Marion, Boone, Hamilton, and Hendricks counties.
Each center is designed around a different stage of childhood, allowing children to receive individualized ABA therapy in an environment tailored to their developmental needs.
Early Intervention Center
For our youngest learners
Our Early Intervention Center provides a nurturing, play-rich environment where young children can build foundational skills through play, exploration, and individualized support.
Therapy may focus on early communication, play and social engagement, routines and transitions, self-help skills, and other building blocks that support greater confidence and independence.

School Readiness Center
For school-aged children
Our School Readiness Center is designed for school-aged learners working on skills that support greater independence at school, at home, and in the community.
Individualized goals may include communication and social skills, group participation, following routines, self-advocacy, emotional regulation, daily living skills, and other areas that are meaningful to each child and family.

In-Home ABA Therapy Across Central Indiana
For some children and families, receiving ABA therapy at home can provide valuable opportunities to learn and practice skills within the routines and environments where they naturally occur.
Shine currently offers in-home ABA therapy for families in Johnson, Hamilton, Hancock, Marion, Boone, and Franklin counties, with services delivered by our existing clinical team.
In-home therapy can be especially helpful for goals involving communication, daily routines, mealtimes, transitions, self-care, sibling interactions, caregiver collaboration, and greater independence at home and in the community.
As part of our continued growth with Proud Moments ABA, we’re also working to expand access to in-home ABA therapy into additional Indiana communities.

Shine and Proud Moments are working to expand in-home services farther north, with plans to serve families in and around Carroll, Tippecanoe, White, Cass, Clinton, and Howard counties.

In-Center Speech Therapy
For children receiving ABA therapy at Shine who would also benefit from additional communication support, speech therapy is available as a complementary service through our partnership with Language at Play. This allows children who need both ABA and speech therapy to receive coordinated services within the same familiar, supportive environment.
Speech therapy is individualized around each child’s communication needs and may support areas such as expressive and receptive language, speech production, functional communication, and social communication.
By offering speech therapy alongside ABA, our teams have greater opportunities to collaborate across disciplines, reinforce shared goals, and provide a more connected care experience for each child and family.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy is endorsed by the US Surgeon General and other medical associations as the leading approach supporting the development of new skills in children with autism spectrum disorder.
ABA Therapy aims to improve functional communication, social interactions, pre-academic and school readiness skills, transitions or unexpected changes to routines, emotional regulation, and self-care skills (grooming, toileting, personal hygiene), while reducing behaviors that interfere with learning or cause harm.
